The Reading Room

Dark academia begins at the end of a shelf. The Reading Room is for the corner of a house where the books live — gothic bookends sculpted on the outer face and flat where they meet the shelf, alongside the frames and ornaments that tend to gather around a reading chair. Each piece is individually 3D printed in Ireland, in the same carved language as the rest of the Archive. It is a small room for now. So was every library, and the Archive is not short of candidates.
